We had a fantastic lunch here. The (we gies it was the owner) owner was really really friendly and her daughter just so lovely. Both were good in Englisch. Besides the delicious food, she gave us some great recommendations for Vietnam. The food was good and tasted fresh!

Such good food and huge portions! We ordered the veggie spring rolls & the prawn and pork and they were huge - and delicious! The special pho and veggie bun cha were also great!

Mau Restaurant is a gem in Hanoi’s Old Quarter! My partner and I tried several phở spots across the city, but none compared to the vibrant, authentic flavors here. The vegetarian phở chay was a standout—clean, aromatic broth packed with fresh herbs and perfectly cooked noodles. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. The restaurant itself is spotless, cozy, and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax after exploring the bustling streets. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, adding a personal touch that made our meal even more memorable. We loved it so much we kept coming back during our trip. If you’re craving delicious Vietnamese cuisine, vegetarian or otherwise, Mau is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return
