Overall, the food was quite decent. I order one of the many chicken currys offered with medium spicy. The curry was served hot and had a very good flavor. There was a lot of bone in the chicken, but the meat was very juicy. The Garlic Nan was absolutely delicious. No Mango Lassi on the menu, but the Plain Yogurt drink was surprisingly good and sweet. I left on a full belly. Would give a 5 for less bone in chicken.
Buffet costs 199 Baht. They had two kinds of rice, 3 kinds of veggie curry, 1 chicken curry, 1 fish curry, water, Roti, butter milk. The taste was okay for 200 Baht. I arrived at 7 PM and the roti wasn’t at the buffet table yet. I was the only customer. They made 2 roti for me but seemed slightly annoyed when I asked for a third. All in all: okay for the price.
We dined here for 2 out of the 3 days that we were in Pattaya. The food was delicious and my personal favourites were the Dhokla and butter naan but rest of the dishes ordered were great and did hit the spot. There are many restaurants in the area but if you’re looking for an authentic, good quality Indian food, served with friendly hospitality then Masala House is your place to eat in. The restaurant is divided in two- one that runs 24/7 for vegetarians and the other which runs till 2am (if i remember correctly) so if you’re a vegetarian, not to worry as they have a separate kitchen!!
Govind and Pooja are Extremely friendly and caring people! Love the tandoori chicken and kadai paneer. 10/10 Saira & Simmi
