I visited Mallow at Borough Market to celebrate my birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. We shared the pita, hummus, charred leek bharta, mojo rojo croquettes, and Mallow Chick+n Burger. Everything was great, but the hummus and mojo rojo croquettes were the highlights! The staff were friendly and helpful, even showing us photos of dishes while we decided. The restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful experience with delicious plant-based food and excellent service. It’s now at the top of my list of favorite vegan restaurants in London. Highly recommend!
Well- I was extremely pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! I was not expecting to have such a lovely meal from a vegan restaurant, but it was great- all very flavoursome and delicious. The waiter was extremely helpful and efficient too. I think sharing the small plates and getting a larger one each for a main seems a good idea. My only potential criticism is that the desserts might not really be worth it- mine was alright but it just wasn’t that nice.
Amazing service I have to first day. Lovely calming interiors and very nice decorations. The staff were ever so friendly and helpful with the menus! Now I’m not usually customer at vegan restaurants - love my meat but this was a nice change! Only advice I would have is perhaps expanding on the menu descriptions as we did not realise the starters we ordered were very saucy. The mushroom ravioli was lovely - unique flavours and ingredients. Good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks too.
An amazing experience from start to finish! We were greeted by the host, who was so attentive it really set the visit off on the right foot! Then the food was absolutely fantastic, well balanced flavours, sweet but not too sweet just fantastic all around. Whether your vegetarian or not I would wholeheartedly recommend!
The place is very cute and cozy, the service was nice and welcoming and the food was good — nice vegetarian sausage and the caper parsley butter is not just an original touch but also very tasty, good beans and tofu scramble also. People around me ordered the mezze brunch which also looked very good … another time maybe. My fresh lemon and ginger tea however tasted only very vaguely of lemon after I aggressively smashed the lemon slices in the pot, and not of ginger at all. The coffee based drinks and lattes on other people’s tables looked great though.
