Food was great. I liked all. But the servers looks like they are not happy with what they are doing. They look angry. A neutral face would be fine but no… The serving of the food is big. We’re 3 women but we weren’t able to finish the medium size fried rice. We had chili omelette, the veggie forgot the name and butter squid. All good. Chili omelette is just right and nor spicy. It’s all good

I visited specifically for the baby squid and cereal prawn, and they never disappoint. Always full of flavour, they’re a delight for the taste buds. Absolutely delicious.

Mak’s place is a nostalgic place for me and my family. I ate here during my childhood days with my family and my late grandparents. we never fail to revisit this place whenever we can. Food still tastes the same but just a heads up some of the workers might look like they are in a bad mood ( Customers do give them a hard time) But If you are nice to them for sure they will be nice to you too!

A colleague introduced me to Mak’s place back in 2000, and since then, it has been a go-to spot for us. ?️ Over the years, it’s become more than just a restaurant—it’s like visiting an old friend who never fails to impress. ? From the quality of the food to the warmth of their hospitality, it’s no wonder we’ve stayed loyal for so many years. ? Even after more than two decades, Mak’s place continues to serve dishes that hit all the right notes. ? It’s a testament to their dedication and consistency. ? Whether it’s for a special occasion or just a casual meal, this place holds a lot of fond memories for us. ?
