Came to the Loving Hut after a heavy work out and was thinking about getting some fried food (don't expect any logic, don't ask), but either way, came across this restaurant and thought veggies wouldn't be such a bad idea. No regrets. Came in, there's seating options on different floors as well, and get handed the menu. There's a variety of options, I just went for the Mien Tron as a single meal for 50K and wow, that could easily have been my entire food intake of the day, portions are HUGE. Below all the veggies you'll find the vegan pork pate, noodles and tofu too. It's also delicious, let's not forget. So I actually gobbled the entire thing up, it was served on a platter with spoon and chopsticks, and at the end of the meal I simply paid the owner, I guess, an elder lady sitting at the table right behind me. She didn't speak much english, but the menu is translated, albeit with some... malfunctions, but it's more than enough for anyone to get around. Either way, if you're lookign for vegan or vegetarian food at a more than decent price, this is definitely one of the options you shouldn't overlook. They also deliver (vietnammm is your friend), and they also sell a bunch of other stuff such as plant based milks, nuts etc.
Great food, good prices and a pleasant atmosphere. Nice seating area downstairs and a small space for parking motorbikes just in front of the shop. It's popular with locals as well ad foreigners, and the menu is bilingual. They also sell a lot of vegan products so it's worthwhile having a look.
Great vegan food, prices from 35k. The soups were delicious. They also sell vegan products (including B12 vitamin), plastic free products (toothbrushes, sponges...), masks and sometimes they have chocolate cake! Staff speaks good English.
Freshly cooked well presented and very tasty feel-good food! Very kind people. Good price too ? Surprise free banana ???
I was surprised by how large the vegan/vegetarian community was in Hanoi and thus, a buttload of vegan-friendly restaurants that are absolutely delicious. Loving Hut was one such restaurant. It was so good we went there twice in 3 days. The food is fresh, light, healthy, and filling. Highly recommend the vegan beef pho, mi xiao (mixed veges fried noodle), fried tofu, and fried seafood spring roll.
