2 Ao Nang, Mueang Krabi District, Krabi 81000, Thailand
Eat here. Cheap and very delicious. They gave us watermelon for free ? very cute owners. Had amazing Pad Thai and seafood noodles, watermelon shake and a young coconut. Will definitely come back multiple times.
Don't just drive by this place, it’s a must-stop. Just outside the main tourist areas, its a welcoming relief from the overly crowded streets of Ao Nang. Unpretentious, quaint, traditional Thai restaurant. Authentic flavours. We had the Pad Thai chicken, Som Tum (papaya salad) and Mango sticky rice. All were very good and reasonably priced. Owner is originally from Chiang Rai (bringing her northern cuisine with her too) She was so sweet too. Added freshly sliced watermelon to our table as an added bonus,, on the house. Overall great food, great service.
The restaurant is located by the road and may seem quite unassuming at first glance, but that’s a sure sign the food will be delicious. It’s run by an incredibly kind and cheerful lady, which creates a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. The prices are low, and the food is outstanding – every dish is full of flavor and freshness. I highly recommend it; it’s definitely worth a visit! If you’re in Thailand and already accustomed to street food, you know that places like this are true culinary gems.
Definitely a MUST EAT! The food is better than what we had at the Landmark Night Market and the environment is great too. We had the egg fried rice, tofu green curry (medium spicy), sweet & sour fish, and omelette, they were all delicious. Be sure to ask for the chilli padi in fish sauce, it adds a nice kick to the meal, especially with the rice dishes. For me, the stand out was the green curry, the tofu was crispy on the outside and it paired perfectly with the creamy soup. There’s flies and mosquitoes but they burn incense to try to combat the issue, a much appreciated touch. The hospitality is great too, owners are both friendly and kind. Toilet situation isn’t bad either, single stall and clean. Though when we were there it was off-peak so there wasn’t much of a crowd or toilet use by the patrons. Overall, great food & amazing owners, will revisit every time we come back to Krabi.
Great place for vegetarian food, had loads of options! Staff really lovely and very affordable. We ate for around 300 baht for us both! Better than the options we had on the main tourist strip.
