I love this place! I always come here for my halal dimsum fix. They have the greatest hits for dimsum. They also have signature dishes to make them unique. I particularly like their 1.4kg ribeye and truffle duck, which is required to pre-order. Food is quite affordable and portions are adequate. See pics for foods I ordered. Staff are friendly and service is fast. My only comment is that the floor feels oily, even at 11am. Might wanna clean the floors before anyone slips. Also there are 3 floors of dining areas, so if you have leg issues, you might wanna get a reservation for the 1st floor. Highly recommended to visit.
I had a very pleasant dining experience at this restaurant. The food was overall amazing, and the ambiance of the place was calm, relaxing, and comfortable—perfect for a casual meal or gathering. One highlight was the mango sago dessert, which was especially enjoyable as it was not overly sweet, making it very refreshing. The juicy bao, har gow, char kway teow, fried rice, and salted bao were also quite good and satisfying. The siew mai were particularly impressive—the siew mai, topped with caviar, added a unique and luxurious touch that elevated the dish. Overall, a great spot with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again.
We arrived with a reservation, but ended up standing in the heat for ten minutes without a single acknowledgement from the service staff. When we finally walked in to inform them of our booking, we were firmly told to wait outside instead. To make matters worse, once we were finally seated, we realized our table had been sitting empty right in front of us the entire time. It was located right next to the main door, which was constantly swinging open and closed next to us throughout the meal. The saving grace was the kitchen. The food arrived fairly quickly, was quite palatable, and worth the steep cost. However, the front-of-house service and management of reservations definitely leave a lot to be desired.
Went to Loong Dim Sum on a Sunday afternoon and arrived at around 2pm. There were plenty of seats available, so we were seated immediately. We ordered the beef kway teow goreng, carrot cake, two giant xiao long baos, prawn dumplings, and the golden salted egg buns. The beef kway teow was really flavourful, with generous slices of beef that were tender and cooked well. The carrot cake was delicious too, with a nice balance of savoury and spicy flavours. The giant xiao long baos were surprisingly filling. They were packed with juicy meat, and the hot, flavourful soup inside made every bite satisfying. The prawn dumplings were also excellent, especially when paired with the chilli and vinegar dressing served on the side. To finish, we had the golden salted egg buns. The black bun was soft, and the gooey, creamy salted egg filling had just the right amount of sweetness, making it a great dessert and palate cleanser after the meal. The bill came to about $50 per person, which is definitely on the pricier side for dim sum. That said, the quality of the food, generous portions, and overall experience made it worthwhile for a first visit. I'd happily come back to try more dishes.
Second visit for me, but my friends’ first time here. The food was superb! Besides the beautiful presentation, the quality was truly top-notch. One of my friends was especially impressed by the generous amount of prawns in the chee cheong fun. The service was more attentive during my previous visit, with empty plates cleared promptly and hot tea refilled regularly. It wasn’t quite the same this time, perhaps because we came during tea time. It would be great if the high tea option could still be available as indicated on the menu. However, as the server explained, the day was still considered a weekend. Perhaps the servers could also mention the National Day promotion to diners, as the poster at the entrance could easily be overlooked. We really enjoyed the chill and comfortable atmosphere, especially as it wasn’t crowded. It was a lovely place to catch up with friends without feeling rushed. Definitely a great spot to visit on a public holiday in lieu when you can enjoy a more peaceful dining experience. Would come back for the food and ambience!
