A nice little Chinese tea house serving quite a catalog of different Chinese tea with vegetarian dim sums. Overall good and tea quality were great. Definitely felt no MSG in the food and they were freshly made. The tea options were vast and prices were quite wide a range from entry to really premium. Each person has to order a set of tea as at the end of the day, this is a tea house. The servers were nice. Seats are comfy but just a small place and may feel a bit tight with other tables in some area. Generally, a good place to taste good tea and have a chat. Location is inside the park and can be a tiny bit tricky to find.
Lovely place for some lunch and tea. Arrived at 1:30pm without any bookings, waited till 2pm for a table for two. Each person must have their own tea. There was an extensive tea list and some dim sums to choose from, everything was great. The biggest discovery was the ginger pudding, served hot, wonderfully spicy, didn’t expect it to be that good.
Very nice place just to have a cup of tea and some vegetarian dim sum. We came here on a late Sunday afternoon and we didn't have to wait to be seated. They have different tea options and you won't go wrong with any choice. The waitresses were polite and helpful and explained clearly how to enjoy the tea.
This is my second visit after a 5 years gap, and it is just as enjoyable. The three of us went on a Sunday around 12:30 and we did not make reservations. It was near capacity but we were seated immediately. It is different than other dim sum restaurants in that it follows the tea house tradition where tea is ordered first and then the foods. The venue is inside a park and the decor is quite classic. The tea menu is presented in a quad fold and each of us ordered a different Pu Er. The server brought us the tea right after ordering and showed us how to brew it. We ordered quite a bit of food and they were delicious and came steaming hot. Compare to other vegetarian restaurants, the price at this one is definitely on the high side when the price of the tea is included. However, the beta, the food and the service is worth at least to experience it once.
Lots of tea options Staff will explain and recommend with patience ? Each person will get their own pot of tea, There’s a kettle of hot water for you to refill. Dim sum are all very nice!! Mostly vegan, absolutely not greasy like some of the vegetarian restaurants in Hong Kong. Love the experience ? Highly recommend : 龍華寺素卷,小籠包,鹹水角,紅棗糕
