The shop is a little difficult to find since its name is only illustrated on the 2nd floor windows ; you have to see it from the opposite side of the street to find it. The dishes are good, and the service is promptly responded. We would eat here again.

The food was fine but the service and policies suck big time.

When the waitress came to take my order, she asked what I wanted for drinks and I said that I didn’t want any. She said, that they were anyways going to charge for drinks whether I order it or not (yes, she said that nearly word to word). I get having a minimum order requirement but wtf kind of policy is it to force people to order a drink? I suspect it is not the restaurants policy but the waitress forced me to order tea. The waitress also wasn't hospitable (and yes, I'm aware of HK service trends) - one older gentleman was good though.

Anyways, I gave them the benefit of doubt and ordered a Tieguanyin tea - it turned out to be the be the worst Tieguanyin I've ever had. It had absolutely no flavor despite 10+ minutes of brewing in boiling water. It just released color so basically it was colored tea without any flavor. I'm quite familiar with Chinese teas and have had many Tieguanyin.

Proceeding, I ordered vegetarian char siu. It was $99 for a medium portion without any accompanying rice, which were another $16 for a very small portion, there is a 10% service charge...so in effect, $126 just for having a medium portion of char siu with small portion of rice.

Overall, I ended up paying $143 for some shitty tea, and char siu.

As for the char siu itself - it was quite good. Juicy and with a good texture - but the 'char', though very visible, didn't pack as much flavor as it should. I cannot comment how close it is to a actual char siu because I've been a vegetarian since birth.

I might return to try their set lunch menu (because the char siu was good so the food seems fine) but will never come back for dinner as it is just a rip-off.

No clearly marked sign for the entry point, you have to walk into the building, then take the elevator or stairs to the 2nd floor.

I had the set menu for lunch. While it's cheap for Hong Kong standards, honestly, I didn't think it was very good. The soup was flavourless, the choysum had no sauce or seasoning either. Just a couple of parts of the dishes were good.

The atmosphere is nice because it's clearly a hidden local spot, and the staff were extremely friendly and kind.

However it's food that people go to restaurants for, and I didn't enjoy my meal.

I may go back to try again, but I don't have high expectations.
