The shops sells vegetarian Chinese buns what come with a great variety. There's also an assorted bag which is easy for consumption (smaller in size and more variety in flavors). They use traditional method to make the bumps to avoid adding artificial yeast which is great for health!

This place was easy to find by foot once you spot the sign. The buns are sitting out and labeled but only labeled in Chinese. I couldn't find an English menu. I only knew what flavors I wanted because I read a vegetarian blog post about which flavors to taste. I chose the red bean (mildly sweet), sesame (sweet), and mapo tofu (savory). My favorite by far is sesame. It tastes like powdered sugar and peanut butter were mixed to form a crumbly texture state (consistancy like the inside of a reeses cup)! The size of these bubs are massive and the quite spongy. Eating one whole bun will definitely fill you up, trust me. And the price is great. Buns are about NTD 15 - 20 each.

Best vegetarian bun in Taipei, only costs NT$20 per piece and tastes sensational, they even have mapo tofu filling which is very unusual. Very easy to find and boss is very friendly.

DELICIOUS and VERY AFFORDABLE! The prices blew me away, but the buns were incredibly tasty. I tried the matcha tea and red bean bun, one filled with vegetables (the best-seller, according to the owner), and another sweet bun, though I can’t quite remember what it was made of. I’ll definitely be coming back! All the buns are VEGAN except for one that’s made with cheese. So, if you’re vegan and find yourself in Taipei, it would be a crime not to visit this place. When I went, all the buns were under €1–1.20 ($1.25/£1). Two or three buns are more than enough for a meal or supper. Try heating them up in the oven—they taste just as good, but the experience is completely different. 10/10, highly recommend!
