The food was delicious. It was so flavourful, and each dish was unique in its texture, too. I could not pick a favourite dish, and I don't think I've experienced that before! The space and vibe is super chilled and relaxed. My tastebuds were certainly blown away! Service, vibes and food were on point!

AMAZING food! L’Embuscade offers amazing flavors with different varieties for different palettes. They make the best plantains I’ve ever had! This is definitely a place you have to try when in this quartier.

We've been here before and it was really good, but this time it WAS INCREDIBLE! Easily the best vegan place we have eaten at in Paris and we've been to them all. I can't tell you what we had now, something peanut butter and something plantain, but it was all superb. Not as expensive as the breakfast we had at Mildred's in London the next day. We'd REALLY miss this place if it closed. If you are vegan please support vegan businesses like this to keep them open!

They get extra points for the service, however the food (I ordered the mushrooms with a peanut sauce) was not great. It didn’t taste bad it just felt like a poke bowl with some African influence. I’ve eaten a few African dishes before and maybe I was expecting something a bit closer to that.

Had such a great experience!! The service and ambiance of this place are what makes it special. The staff is nice, chill and very patient. There is also a deejay playing music softly to accompany you as you eat, good music: a mix of R&B, modern-jazz and west coast hip hop, very nice touch. Food is good too! Nice proportion and fun dishes, if you are vegetarian its perfect for you! Will definetely be back. Recommend anybody in the area to check it out.
