I came here a few years back when it was a cute little 30 seat restaurant and was blown away by the perfection it was. Not fancy. Just really lovely. Great food and wine at reasonable prices, in a relaxed atmosphere.

So I was a bit worried coming back and finding it is now 130 seats and had a great big kitchen. Surely it couldn't be as good as the first time?

Well, I can confirm, it was WONDERFUL. The service, the food, the wine, the setting. It was all just.... Perfect. I have recommended this place to all of my friends that come to Paris and I will continue to do so. What a lovely gem.

My husband and I visited Le Poulbot in  May to enjoy a lovely meal for our honeymoon. It was such a fantastic experience. The brilliant staff hugely take care of customers and make everything to make the experience perfect. Delicious food and brilliant location as well. I am looking already to go back to Paris and to Le Poulbot!

The onion soup (starter) was very tasty. I had it with fries and it was more than enough.
The location is in a touristic area, which also reflect on the price. Inside it is quiet and cozy with many art pieces. All the seats are not on the ground floor (if you are looking for a barrier free location, this won’t be for you)

Food was excellent and staff very friendly and accommodating. We asked for an earlier time for our reservation the day of and no problem. Also asked to move from outside to inside due to the heat and were met with a smile and courtesy. Felt very welcome and food was great. Thank you.!

The location of this brasserie is adorable on a small less crowded street. But it is still in a very very touristy area. If you go, know that. Do not expect the best meal or drinks you've ever had unless you have been used to eating in tourist areas.

I mainly eat in less touristy parts of Paris, and this experience reminded me of why. The service was not great (and I'm familiar with French server pacing at brasseries, so I understand the cultural pace). The service was more akin to feeling like I was an imposition. Also the food I had was meh at best. I'd had the same meal a day or two prior in Oberkampf, and it was half the price and twice as good. I also ordered a drink when I sat down that never came, but when it did - it was after I finished eating. The drink tasted like seltzer water yet only listed three ingredients that were not seltzer. Just be forewarned. It's a tourist area. You should know what to expect and I was reminded. ?‍♀️
