Kinsahi offers an excellent dining experience with delicious Japanese cuisine, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor, with a particularly impressive variety of vegetarian options. What truly stood out was the service. The staff were incredibly attentive and proactive, even offering to help take pictures without being asked. Their friendliness and attention to detail made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Kinsahi is a fantastic spot for Japanese food lovers, especially those looking for great vegetarian options. Highly recommended!
Nice little Japanese restaurant in Mid Valley. I loved that they had a whole separate vegetarian menu. The vegetarian fried corn maki was delicious, as was the silken tofu with miso sauce. The egg salad and prawn cakes were fantastic as well. The Japanese curry was decent, but the vegetarian unagi sushi was a letdown. Nevertheless, still 5 stars for the vegan menu! Few restaurants offer such a wide range of veg friendly options.
The Kyushu ramen had springy noodles and good broth which was not too salty. The char siew was tender and flavourful. The gyoza with crispy toppings had juicy fillings. Note that this is a restaurant that does not serve pork though not sure if it's Halal-certified.
Came for early lunch on a weekday. It was pretty quiet. Seated quickly though food took a little while. Had the signature mapo tofu ramen and was pleasantly surprised by it. Spicy and rich broth without being overwhelming. Just a bit salty but not too bad. Ramen was springy with good texture and thickness. Ordered the gyoza with crispy toppings and that was good too. Enjoyed the meal.
