I’ve been eating halal food for a couple years now and his food has that something special that just takes it to the next level. The food’s spices are very present and makes it taste very different in a good way. Don’t expect much friendly service but that’s how it is in New York and I kind of appreciate the authenticity. I will go out of my way to make sure I get a plate if i’m in the area and would want to have a full stomach on a budget.
A super nice place with awesome cuisine. We ordered felafel, chicken and lamb gyro and they were super perfect. The atmosphere is just so nice and cozy. Also the food truck guy was so friendly and nice. So definitely recommend especially if you visit the Vessel just take a 5 minutes walk to this place. Definitely worth it.
I just have the most amazing chicken kabal over rice. Is a steal for Manhattan. I have chicken over for 15 years all over Queens, Brooklyn also time square. This guy charged very reasonable price. Taste ??? ,I am a big guy. I can't finish it . Don't take my word . Try it out . ??
I love the falafel here. Fresh scooped into the fryer vat. Done and perfectly crispy in minutes. Topped with some white sauce and just walk over to the High Line to snack. Can't say anything about the other food but damn it the falafel's good.
Delicious! I usually get the lamb over rice with peta bread. White sauce, hot sauce and green sauce. It does have a slight more season flavors than other spots but it tastes good regardless. They also take tap and cards as payment, but I believe cash is better no fees for card transactions. Price is not bad for being in the city. No complains.
