Khan Baba zindabad! I just got back from Beijing & visited this genuine Pakistani Pathaani restaurant with my daughter. It's not the easiest place to find, up on the 5th floor of tower block in a shopping mall, but well worth the effort as there are not enough genuine Pakistani food outlets like this in Beijing. We ate veg samosas with mint sauce, zeera pilau rice, chana masaala & thick fresh made plain naans washed down with mango milkshake. The food was fresh & tasted like home cooked with excellent service with a smile provided by staff. All in all bill was 152 yuans (about £19). Very reasonable in our opinion. Make the effort to visit this place...located in tall building opposite the Adidas / H & M stores.

After quite some research we are able to find this place and were not disappointed. It was on the 5th floor of 2nd building, see my posted pictures. After eating in Chinese restaurants for 3 days we were craving for some desi food and food here was like panacea to our sour stomachs. Meeting friendly Pakistani's staff in a foreign nation was very warming. We went there twice in our 6 day stay in Beijing. They serve BBQ, biryani and other typical Pakistani foods. All desi food lovers are recommended to check this place out when they are in China, you will not be disappointed. A little improvement in sitting area is required, but I am sure that the owner of the place will improve it soon. This place is also good for students who are studying in Beijing. I have posted picture of their menu, they also deliver to your hotel if you are unable to reach them but unfortunately I have lost the number of delivery boy, will post it later if found. A piece of advice, this place serves guaranteed Halal food, whereas some other Chinese Muslim restaurants does not. Please look or ask for certificate on serving Halal food in other restaurant, if you are Halal food conscious.

Khan Baba is Best Pakistani cuisine in the heart of Beijing Sanlitun Soho.Specially in China we can’t find easily Pakistan or Indian food because there are some hotels in different cities.I traveled all across from Henan to Beijing almost 750km just to try Pakistani cuisine From Khan Baba Hotel. Here you can get everything Delicious and tasty Baryani, Roti, Naan, milk tea, chicken handi and more more with dessert ( Gulab Jaman) and many more.. Highly recommended if you travel to Beijing must try it…Dr Khan?♥️

Building No2, 5th Floor is the exact location. The hotel is gem for Indian Pakistani Food lovers. Food is very scrumptious and tasty. They have complete VEG and Non Veg options along with breakfast variety. Staff is very courteous and humble. If you are craving for desi food, its a must visit in Beijing.

There are not many halal Pakistani restaurants in Beijing but Khan Baba gives you an authentic punch. Food is good and service reasonably quick. Food is bit pricey though. The closest subway station is Tuanjiehu on Line 10. The area is generally bustling but the mall in which Khan Baba is located is bit quiet and slow.
