PHENOMENAL Italian restaurant in Canggu! It’s so good you would not even know it’s a vegan restaurant. The mushroom and green pesto pizzas are TOP notch. I also enjoyed the salad and gnocchi. Everything I got was gluten free and vegan! Nice and healthy! They just opened up the upstairs area which is nice because downstairs is right on the road and can be noisy/bit of pollution. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kasto, an incredible vegan Italian restaurant in Canggu, Bali, and I cannot recommend it enough! The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, with a perfect balance of modern and rustic decor that makes you feel right at home. The menu offers a fantastic variety of plant-based dishes that stay true to Italian culinary traditions while being completely vegan. From the fresh and vibrant antipasti to the rich and flavorful pastas, everything is made with care and attention to detail. I especially loved the house-made vegan mozzarella — it was creamy and delightful, just like the real thing. The pizza options are equally impressive, with a perfect thin crust and delicious toppings. What stood out to me was the creativity and quality of the dishes. It's clear that the chefs at Kasto are passionate about their craft, using fresh, high-quality ingredients that elevate the flavors to a whole new level. The staff is also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're in Canggu and looking for a vegan-friendly spot that doesn't compromise on taste or authenticity, Kasto is a must-visit. It’s a true haven for plant-based Italian food lovers!

Incredible food, unique and innovative menu. I had the polenta chips and spinach tofu ravioli with sage butter which were amazing, the gnocchi with pesto was pretty good too. The mushroom pizza is one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve ever had, and the smoky gouda might be the best vegan cheese I’ve ever had! The pistachio ice cream didn’t taste very pistachio-y but the texture was really nice.

Great vibe - food is amazing! I like how they do things little different so it's not just the same old pastas you find other places. I got the pesto gnocchi which was deliciously fresh and then the 4 meat balls with the bread. Omg so good...
