Had the Original Chicken Rice. Delicious & Generous chicken and rice portion. Perfect vegetable portion. Not too spicy chilli sauce. The curry puff is awesome too! Make sure you fellas buy some extra for your breakfast tomorrow. Thank you, Jom Que. ????

I had their Nasi Ayam Sambal and it was soooo goood! Generous sambal toppings. ? They have yummy curry puffs ready to go in their hot food cabinet. Looking forward to try the rest on the menu.

Husband and wife owned restaurant offering Malaysian cuisine at Grafton, Auckland. Our first time there. Convenient location just across Auckland Hospital, 10 minutes walk from Grafton train station. We had Lamb stew and Nasi Ayam Sambal. Curry puff for dessert. Lamb stew is their signature dish, was absolutely delicious. The lamb portion was melt-in-the-mouth tender, well seasoned, generous black pepper but not overly hot. Carrots, potatoes and celery in the stew. Nasi Ayam Sambal was a generous potion, more than usual restaurant. Authentic spicy sambal not for the faint hearted. Large chicken portion, fried, well seasoned with fair amount of vegetables on the side. Love the rustic ambience and the warm welcome from owners. Highly recommended halal food and children friendly.

What a fantastic new addition to the auckland food scene. If you are looking for some great malaysian this is the place to come. The food was delicious but warning will need to be able to handle the heat cause it will leave your tounge burning. Had the chicken sambal. The portion was certainly enough to feed a very hungry person or 2 people. Honestly couldn't finish it. But certainly a place I am looking forward to dining again. The food is halal for those with religious requirements and the service was great. Even for those with seafood allergies there is something for you. Not a big menu but what they do. They do well. Highly recommended
