8,000 won for a full meal?! And they won't even accept tip! I put the tip in the donation box. Fresh ingredients, good food, and extremely good value. Excellent service. Positive vibes. Surprised there aren't more reviews of this place. It's a hidden gem!
Wonderful alliums free vegetarian food! It’s also very easy to get to. Self service rice, soup, fruit of the day, etc.
This a wonderful hidden vegetarian gem. The food is delicious at a great price. The staff is friendly. It is located in the basement of the building.
Hidden in the basement of an unassuming building, this place feels like a true hidden gem. Inside, you'll discover a peaceful temple-like atmosphere, complemented by the warm and welcoming energy of the staff. The vegan menu is both satisfying and affordable, with dishes costing less than $10 USD. I’m really glad I stumbled upon this spot.
This is a canteen located in a temple (operated / visited by Chinese and Taiwanese devotees). I came here hoping for Korean food (particularly jajangmyeon as it was challenging trying to find a restaurant that served vegetarian jajamyeon without alliums). Unfortunately, this wasn’t available when I came and I could only pick from what’s available on the buffet spread. Cost wise, this was really affordable (I think it was 8k KRW) for the buffet. However, I wished there were more Korean style dishes apart from the bibimbap! I’d recommend coming here for the cultural experience and availability of allium free vegetarian food. However, don’t expect too many Korean style dishes as this is not operated by Koreans
