54 Zion Rd, Singapore 247779
Lovely understated Indonesian restaurant on Zion Road. Beloved by most of the residence around Great World City area. Been here multiple times but not since the last 5 years after I moved away from this part of town. Happy to see flavours are still consistently good.
First visit to IndoChili and was glad I made a reservation ahead of time. There's a reason why this restaurant is bustling with crowd. Even though prices are a bit higher than the ones at Great World City and the Customs House, it's totally worth it for the taste and quality of ingredients. I'll definitely be bringing my family and friends here when they're craving top-notch Indonesian food.
Solid indo restaurant. The satay has a nice charcoal flavour. The mutton curry and beef rangdang are both super delicious. The one slight criticism I have is that it tastes “healthier “ than the usual indo food haha. Less oily and salty and no msg haha.
Good aromatic and deep flavour wide variety of Indonesian food. Tried Nasi timbel and Nasi Kuning (Yellow) rice set. Must try their Nasi Kuning which is very fragrant, their soft rendang (i prefer more spicy side) and Ayam Kuning which is tender and juicy with pleasant spices aroma. The price is on the higher side, but the service is good as they gave us individual plates to share. :)
Came here because my colleague (half Indo) said that her son(not a hint of Indo at first glance) loves this place and that the food reminds them of their grandmother's cooking. Not disappointed at all! Really enjoyed the experience here. Really enjoyed the tempeh as it's a softer tempeh compared to the harder ones I've normally eaten
