We had breakfast at Il Bacaro, and I had this specially made for the gluten free intolerant. : flourless orange almond cake. it's savoury moist and full of flavour. breakfast is prepared in such an inviting atmosphere. they offer quite many gluten free options. I had scrambled egg with smoked salmon. my egg is more like omelette but it's good. my husband had full monty and he said It's one of the best breakfast he had in a long time. really well prepared hearty portion for a hot day in Penang. what I like the most here is actually jam. really nice natural flavour jam. great service and attentive. highly recommended.

Ordered chef’s special - lamb shoulder and black dough pizza as well as an appetizer. Lamb shoulder is delicious. The pizza tastes amazing and authentic. My family really liked the crispy crust. The appetizer is not bad as well, the bread tastes great, definitely freshly baked.

We came here since Google review rating is high and didn’t know that it has Michelin Guide awards. The cheese was close to original from Europe and the pizza was amazing. It’s not easy to do a good job on Margarita. The pasta is also creamy and well balanced with lots of seafood. The service is attentive and the restaurant is full-house. Will come back again.

Found and love. Walking around and came across this Michelin recognized restaurant. Had fromage and then fillet steak. Steak was perfect. House wine by the glass delicious. Attentive service. Wish I found sooner. Prices for quality good.

I ate here on a Sunday night, the place was packed with people so better book a table in advance if you can. Food was lovely, I had a mix of appetizers to start with and spaghetti with vongole as a main dish, they definitely know how to make Italian food. Negroni cocktail was really nice too!
