Just had the baked Brie & a scotch egg. Delicious. The accompanying bourbon apple onion jam was home made & super tasty. My husband is originally from the UK and he said the scotch egg was cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and obliging and we had the Fields lager which was really well priced for this part of town.

Quiz night , very accommodating and friendly staff. Everyone is so friendly. Toilets next door, went several times and first time they were disgusting but throughout the night they were much cleaner. We had several items on the snack and share list menu . They were delicious!! Never had deep fried pickle before. Not a big bar but the atmosphere on quiz night was great. We weren’t playing the quiz. The staff were kind and accommodating and helped us to order us a taxi . Great service and would definitely go back

I made an online reservation, and although they didn't check it when we arrived, they still accommodated us. Their pale ale was excellent, and the price was reasonable. Sunday lunch was enjoyable. If I were to be picky, I'd suggest serving horseradish with the beef & brown the potatoes in oil. Otherwise, everything was good.
