Herb Library is a charming oasis down a charming Ubud street. Its ambiance is peaceful, as you eat under gorgeous jungle trees within an open, well-designed, airy gazebo. The food is delicious, offering many options for vegetarians and vegans. The standout factor, however, is their incredible service. Angga, my server, was kind, gentle, patient, and very helpful. The staff made me feel at home and it is delightful to hear their laughter throughout the restaurant. I loved this experience ;)

A cute restaurant offering a variety of dishes with a calming ambience. I ordered the vegan pizza—portion-wise, it's better shared with others, as I found myself getting a bit bored halfway through. The texture was slightly tough, which made it less enjoyable to finish on my own. You definitely need to try the nasi kuning (yellow rice). The portion is just right for one person, and the taste is delicious.

Wow - food and service was amazing here! They gave us a complimentary mini starter which was delicious, infused water and our actual food was so nice. There is over 20% added onto the bill for tax and service but so worth it as the place is so lovely! Sugi was an amazing, friendly, attentive server. We would absolutely go back in a heartbeat!!!

We had an amazing brunch at Herb Library Ubud! The chicken satay was tender and full of rich, authentic flavor. The peanut butter and banana smoothie bowl was delicious—creamy, naturally sweet, and super satisfying. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The setting is peaceful and beautifully designed, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy great food. Highly recommended—we’ll definitely be coming back!

Wonderful place for a light but filling lunch. We had the seared tuna salad and pumpkin salad, both were cooked and presented perfectly. The flavours were bold and complementing. Pleasant jazz music played softly in the background with the general chitter of people talking. Beautiful trees as the backdrop and the waiters were super friendly and helpful. Very fairly priced, have certainly paid a lot more elsewhere for a lot less. Would recommend.
