I’ve tried many gyukatsu places in Tokyo, and this one is definitely among the best. Even the menchikatsu is made with wagyu, so it has a wonderful aroma and a natural sweetness from the beef itself. We ordered the A5 ribeye set, A5 tenderloin set, and A5 sirloin set. Each one came with 12 types of sauces and condiments — yuzu kosho, kimchi, grated radish with ponzu, katsu sauce, fresh lemon, shichimi, Maldon sea salt, sansho, mustard seeds, real fresh wasabi (not stingy at all), homemade potato salad, and a rich umami onsen egg. You can enjoy 12 different flavor combinations with just one piece of gyukatsu, which is amazing. The seafood tempura set was great as well — the soft-shell crab was outstanding. But my personal favorite was the fresh oyster. It comes topped with tobiko, and the oyster itself was unbelievably fresh and sweet. On top of that, the salad, miso soup, and rice are all free flow, which goes perfectly with the fried food. The crisp shredded cabbage especially helps reset your palate from the richness of the A5 wagyu. Honestly, I didn’t expect to find such authentic and delicious Japanese food in Singapore. It’s an easy 11/10 for me. I’ll definitely be back.
My friend Tuck treated my family and me to the restaurant last time, and the food was even better than I expected! We sampled five different types of Japanese Wagyu beef. Three of the dishes featured A5-grade marbled Black Wagyu beef, cooked to a perfect crispy exterior and tender interior. Sliced and served on special ceramic plates, each dish was accompanied by ten different dipping sauces. The meals also included small ceramic frying pans, allowing diners to grill the beef to their liking. This method effectively preserves the beef's tenderness and enhances its texture, while the various dipping sauces further elevate the experience, making the Wagyu beef even more delicious and unforgettable! Highly recommended!
Great food, great presentation, great service and great experience. Food is exceptional. Very fresh and delicious food. We order the strip loin, seafood and vegan set and all of them taste as good. Of course the signature was their beef!! Great place for dates and gathering with your bff. Love it! Will be back soon
We ordered the weekday special—Australian tenderloin, Wagyu A5 strip loin, and ribeye. Everything was amazing. The marbling was just right: soft, buttery, and so tender you barely needed to chew. A big plus is that the cabbage and miso soup are refillable. If you’re not a beef lover, the seafood options are also a great choice. I didn’t manage to take a photo of the oysters—when they arrived, they looked way too tempting to wait! It was totally worth the wait!!
Chanced upon this restaurant next to Clover Hotel. It was pretty crowded during dinner hours but was able to chope a table. Notice it was a halal certified restaurant as 1/2 of the tables were occupied by our Muslim friends. We tried their Wagyu Ribeye set and premium seafood set. Both were outstanding especially the Wagyu ribeye was mind blowing. Texture was soft and tender and it came with 10 types of condiments. Definitely will be back again
