This is my third visit to Gurkan Restaurant in Makkah, and it continues to impress. The steak and kofta were absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and the Gürkan Sef Special salad, Hummus and fries made for amazing appetizers. I highly recommend focusing on the meat dishes since they are the restaurant’s specialty. As for the chicken dishes, they didn’t quite live up to expectations, so I would suggest skipping them. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and we had a wonderful time.

This time, we ordered lasagna and steak, and everything was excellent. The staff and waiters are professional and provide great service. The restaurant’s design is also special—it feels different from many other places, offering a cozy and enjoyable atmosphere. All the food is fresh, and you can see the quality of the meat. Before your meal, they serve fresh, hot Arabic bread with olive oil and a delicious smashed olive spread. If you’re visiting Makkah or living there, I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is amazing, and I really enjoyed it!

We visited Gürkan Şef and were truly impressed. My wife ordered the hummus meze with bread, and I had the New York steak – the meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and cooked exactly the way I wanted. The flavors were well-balanced and of top quality. Beyond the food, the service was outstanding! We had the pleasure of being served by Omar Farzan, who provided an exceptionally warm and professional experience. His hospitality truly made our dinner special. One of the best restaurants in Mecca and even in Saudi Arabia, it serves a very good Turkish cuisine. The beef is fresh and yummy. I went more than one time and every time I find it great with the same quality.
