First time visiting and we had a short wait of 15 mins or so in the queue outside. Thank goodness the sun was out! Once seated the food service was very fast and efficient. Portion sizes generous with delicious food. The vibe in the place was friendly and quite lively. An excellent way to start off the day.

Ordered chicken burger and a pulled beef burger food was amazing and filling, portion size was generous. Staff made a slight error with our order but was very quickly sorted out, will definitely visit again. A big thank you to all the staff at Grounded.

Visited here a weekend a while back but the queue was super long ! But at a more quiet time makes a great breakfast & brunch. Food is fantastic, likewise the atmosphere. Enjoyed the shakshuka and tea. One improvement I would recommend to store owners is train staff to properly seat, welcome guests. I was left cluelessly wandering & then when sat down was moved to somewhere else. And they forget about taking your order. Would visit again. :-)

Grounded Whitechapel offers a good coffee experience with generally satisfactory service. During my weekday visit, the cafe was busy but there were seats available. The atmosphere, however, was rather noisy. The homemade buttermilk pancakes were nice — fluffy, soft, and served warm. The coffee was decent. That said, the seating arrangement felt somewhat cramped, with tables placed close together, making the space feel congested; you’re seated very close to other diners. There was a noticeable sense of urgency to eat quickly, as the staff seemed eager to clear tables promptly to accommodate the steady flow of customers. In fact, the waitress was taking my coffee away before I had finished it. I paid £17.95 for my pancakes and coffee, and the service should be a lot better. Instead, I felt somewhat pressured to leave to free up space for others. Overall, it was a satisfactory visit with good food.

The omelette was a little dry for me so it tasted slightly bitter. Beef was medium doneness it tasted delicious ?. French toast totally fine and this is favorite mocha coffee.
