Food was good as usual but service was nonexistent at this branch. I sat down, ordered via Qr Code. After abt 15 mins food was served. It was busy lunch time so no issue for me. But staff just chuck my bowl on table n left. If i didnt noticed, maybe i wouldn't know. Ninja service. No utensils as well n i was wondering where to.....n i realised its self service. No idea as server didnt inform me to grab them by myself. I was seated quite inside and left my food there, went over to utensils corner.
The portions were huge and generous! We really liked the food - vegetables were fresh, the sauces mixed with the dishes (like curry and rendang) were very flavorful and the mock meat tasted so legitimate (pleasantly surprised by the texture). We had a hard time finishing all the food but for the price it wa very worth it. Quite a huge lunch crowd on weekdays even though there are quite a lot of seats! Can see that it's a well patronised and loved place. Awesome choice for friends who are on a vegetarian / vegan diet
Always a good choice for vegetarian food, can get crowded during lunch but there’s ample seats. While most of my lunchmates had the bento, I decided to try the seasonal Sea treasure tomato soup & thick bee hoon. Although I would prefer a stronger taste of tomato in the soup, the veg tofu ball was yummy & I was quite mindblown by the konnyaku prawn & soya fish slice (seaweed was used to act as fish skin)! Given my allergy to seafood, I really wanted to try Singaporean laksa and found this hidden gem offering a vegan version. I thought the laksa was great (albeit the umami factor could be slightly better…perhaps with mushroom bouillon). Still I enjoyed every bite, and would recommend if you want to try a signature local staple.
Greendot is my favourite food chain in Singapore. I highly recommend the lions mane mushroom rendang - either in a bento box or as a side dish. It's so flavourful and will boost your neural connectivity!
