Epicurean is an ideal buffet to choose if you’re celebrating a birthday or just a catch up. The atmosphere and service is excellent, that is one thing you can guarantee Everytime. The roast meats were good, there may be small amounts left as there is a line to the start of the buffet line where the roast meats are. Their pork ribs and beef cheeks were extremely tasty and tender and worth grabbing for seconds. There Indian section was exceptional however I was disappointed by the Asian section. It was rather boring with only the Singaporean chilli crab being the main show. I have been to Epicurean in the past and one time they had Peking duck with was very nice however I was disappointed to find that they were not serving duck at this time. Plenty of seafood options however the sushi was mediocre for the most part. The dessert section never fails with a large variety of desserts to choose and the ice cream was very rich. Overall Epicurean is a high standard buffet with a large price that others may not see the justification for it however it is a lavish buffet to catch up with people or perhaps a birthday as they do give you a small birthday treat with a candle. Does it compete with other lavish buffets, no but it does the job very well
Buffet Breakfast at Epicurean – A Delightful Experience Today, I had the pleasure of enjoying a buffet breakfast at one of Perth’s luxury hotels. It was a truly wonderful experience with delicious food and a beautifully designed environment. The buffet featured several sections, including cold dishes, hot food, and desserts, offering a wide variety of options. From Western cuisine to Chinese and Indian dishes, the choices were abundant and catered to different tastes. One of the highlights was the bread section, where the bread was thoughtfully stored inside a box to prevent it from drying out. Additionally, a chocolate fountain added a touch of elegance and decoration to the dining area. The ambiance was further enhanced by the greenery and plants outside the restaurant. Sitting near the window provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Overall, it was an exceptional breakfast experience that I would highly recommend.
I enjoyed breakfast at Epicurean every morning during my stay at Crown Towers Perth, and it was a delightful experience. This beautiful, luxurious restaurant, located on the ground level, offers an impressive buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. The food was exceptionally well-prepared, with ingredients clearly chosen with care by the chefs. Maria, a lovely chef, was particularly friendly and attentive, ensuring that we were enjoying our meals and that everything was perfect. The service was quick, efficient, and warm. Although the restaurant gets busy, the spacious layout prevents any feeling of overcrowding, allowing for a comfortable dining experience.
The Epicurean at Crown Towers sets the golden standard for premium buffets in Perth. If you’re looking for the best value, I highly recommend going for weekday lunch—you still get the full luxury experience but at a more accessible price point. The seafood selection is the real standout—incredibly fresh, generous portions, and well worth the cost on its own. Prawns, oysters, and sashimi are all replenished frequently, and the quality is consistently superb. What sets Epicurean apart is the culinary precision. Dishes are rotated regularly, and each cuisine has its own dedicated chef, ensuring everything from Indian curries to Asian stir-fries is cooked to perfection and full of authentic flavour. It’s an ideal spot for special occasions—from birthdays to anniversaries—and the ambience matches the standard of the food. One thing that stood out: any food that’s been out for more than two hours is binned, even if untouched. Surely there could be a better system in place—perhaps donating to charities or food banks—especially with so many in need. That said, it remains the best buffet experiences in WA.
