If you’re craving real Italian eats, you’ve gotta check out this place. Their pizza dough is like the soft kind you’d find in the south – all nice and fluffy, almost like pita bread. Up north, it’s a bit crispier. So, if you like your pizza soft, this spot is a must-visit. Their tomato sauce is top-notch, and the seafood pasta? Oh, it’s fantastic! Everything on the menu lived up to my expectations. Service here is A+. The staff is super friendly and full of good vibes. Quick heads-up, though: I love a bit of chili on my seafood pasta. When I asked for chili oil, they handed me olive oil. Asked again, and turns out that’s their chili oil – not what I expected. So, if you’re all about spice, you might miss that kick. Reminds me of my trip to Italy, where asking for chili sometimes got me capsicum instead. Just a heads-up for spice lovers!
If you’re in search of authentic Neapolitan pizza on the Gold Coast, look no further than Double Zero. Their wood-fired oven imparts a delightful flavour to the pizzas, and every ingredient is both fresh and authentic. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the prices are very reasonable. This might just be the best pizza on the Gold Coast and is worth the trip. If you appreciate true Neapolitan pizza, a visit here is a must.
11/10!! Amazing food and friendly service. Loved the authentic pizzas and also the seafood pasta was so delicious. We'll be back!
Pizzas were great at reasonable prices. Staff were nice. Good local spot.
Good pizza and excellent service. The pizza is light and crispy, the toppings are high quality. Reminds me a lot of Pizzerie in Italy. I have two slight remarks: throughout the dining experience, the music suddenly changed from slow and rather silent music to hits and party music, which you would rather listen to in a bar instead of a restaurant. This mildly disturbed our dining experience and I suggest a restaurant Jazz to be more appropriate for the quality and ambience of the restaurant. Additionally, we tried the tiramisù for dessert and the ingredients were good, but it was too watery and there was not enough Mascarpone cream (that could just have been a suboptimal batch and generally the Tiramisù is better, I do not know). Apart from that, great experience and very tasty food as well as nice location - I highly recommend it if you crave a delicious Pizza on the Gold Coast.
