My first visit here on a weekend. They have set lunch on week days, which is slightly cheaper. I opted for the Saba Shioyaki Cawanmunshi set along with 3 Sushi sets. The grilled mackerel was decent in taste and the side dishes were satisfactory. The sushi was notably fresh. Overall, it was an average experience. The service from the staff was a bit slow, and the portion size was reasonable. The pricing was on the higher side, typical for food sold in malls.

If you want a true taste of Japan, your drive from anywhere is worth to Klang. You will feel home in this place. Everything, from the music they play in the background to their passion in serving authentic food is truly the best you can find. Compared to all those commercialised places that are well known for branding only but quality is very bad. Here the place the quality and quantity is 100% guaranteed. I’ve been going here for ages now, took my mom here when I first got my salary and until today, many years later, the food taste exactly the same - they maintained both the quality and quantity. Look at what I ate today, the grilled squid is such a large piece and money worth it. Try ordering this in places like Zanmai, you pay so much but you get small size and taste like nothing. Here the squid is so tasteful and juicy!

Don Kaiten offers flavorful Japanese dining experience with fresh ingredients, sushi, and rich ramen. It's a good restaurant to have some Japanese food with reasonable price.

Food taste & atmosphere reminds me of small restaurant in japan - more towards smaller city further from downtown tokyo. Will definitely come back again with my family.
