60 Paya Lebar Road #01-77/80 Paya Lebar Square Singapore (409051)
I had the best meal I've ever had in the Far East here, if the atmosphere and service are improved it could even be the best restaurant in Singapore. As I drank the fish soup, I tasted something different with each sip; sweet, sour, bitter... The meat was like Turkish meat doner and flavored with sauteed vegetables. It was great!
Went back to singapore for a visit and was introduced to this place by a friend. It was so good we went back there again even though we were only back for a short holiday. The ingredients were fresh and flavours were authentic. We really enjoyed our meals the both times we were there. The service was amazing. The staff are very helpful, courteous, friendly, efficient and attentive. Will definitely be on my must go list when I visit home.
Authentic Sichuan food and it's halal, too! Love that it caters to Muslim customers so that they can also enjoy Sichuan cuisine. The La zi Ji is very worth the price for such a big portion, and the fried chicken bits are MEATY, unlike some places that just fry bits of chicken that are mostly skin and just batter. Not too spicy so it's good if your tolerance isnt that high. The butter chicken was my friend's favourite, basically tastes like a creamy curry ish chicken (more creamy and with a orangey colour). Felt the vegetable portion was very worth it for the price and they gave alot of xiao bai cai for a small portion. Would come back, the staff will direct you to a table and offer storage to put your bags in, only wished that the stall was bigger as it tends to get crowded after office hours, more air conditioned, and that our order could have come a little faster ( we waited about 15-20 mins) 3 star for atmosphere, 4 star for service, and 5 star for the food.
