I recently visited Delhi Streets and had an overall good experience, though there were a few drawbacks. The food was delicious and authentically Indian. The thali plates offered a good variety and were quite satisfying. I would actually prefer the salad to perhaps only onions or mix without greens. However, the seating was a bit cramped, making it a little uncomfortable to have a conversation. The restaurant employs mostly young females, which I found commendable as it supports young people in the workforce. One downside was the service. While the staff seemed friendly, they were often too busy chit-chatting amongst themselves. This resulted in a lack of attention to customers. No one came to check if we were okay or if we needed anything. I had to wave multiple times and wait around five minutes just to get someone's attention to ask to refill the glass of water. Despite these issues, the overall dining experience was pleasant, mainly due to the quality of the food. I would recommend Delhi Streets for its authentic flavors, but they could improve on their customer service.
The food here absolutely blew me away! Cheap authentic and delicious Indian food. We had Mango Lassi ? Tandoori Chicken Pizza, Chaat Platter and Chana Bhatura. It was my first time trying Pani Puri so that was definitely a highlight for me. The Chana Bhatura was my favourite dish of the night. The fried bread complimented the chickpea curry so well and the pickles added a perfect hint of freshness. All in all it’s a great spot for Indian food and I can’t wait to come back. The service was pretty quick considering how busy it was. I came on a Friday night and would recommend making a booking ahead of time as this venue is quite popular.
Delhi Street is hands down favourite Indian restaurant of me and my friends, a true 10/10 experience every time. The food is absolutely delicious. We usually order the mix thali, pav bhaji, and the paneer pizza, and each dish is always fresh, flavourful, and made with love. The rasmalai is the perfect sweet finish, very soft, creamy, and just melts in your mouth! What truly makes Delhi Street special is the warm hospitality. Uncle, the owner, is incredibly sweet and welcoming! he always greets us with a big smile and genuine kindness that makes you feel like family. Highly recommended!
Great flavour and value for money! Been hearing about this place from friends for a while and I didn’t disappoint! Standouts were the pani puri and butter chicken
