Damn nice Korean Vegetarian food at this place called “Daehwa”. Recommended by a colleague who is a vegetarian. Their food is flavourful and portion is generous. You will feel happy after eating it. It’s a very popular place for lunch so please make reservations at least an hour in advance. I rated their food and services at 5/5 stars. I will definitely return try other dishes.
My family and I have been to this restaurant a few times for dinner. Thus, this is one of our favourite places to go for vegetarian Korean foods. Their soups are top-notch and thick, never disappointing us every time we come. The shop is easily accessible by MRT too, and there are plenty of parking lots if you drive here.
This is hands-down my all-time favorite Korean vegetarian restaurant. Every visit is a treat, and they never disappoint! I absolutely enjoyed the bibimbap — fresh, balanced, and full of flavor. But the standout dish for me has to be the deep-fried broccoli — lightly battered to perfection and tossed in their special sweet and spicy red sauce. It’s addictive! Their soups are also top-notch — thick, hearty, and consistently delicious with every visit. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, you’ll feel the love in every bowl. The location is super convenient — easily accessible by MRT, and if you’re driving, there are plenty of parking lots nearby. A great spot for a satisfying, feel-good meal.
I won't actively seek out vegan/vegetarian food, but this one was really good. The sweet and sour king oyster mushroom was delicious. The Jjampong tasted like it had seafood even though it doesn't, so packed with umami. Tteokbokki serving was a little small but delicious as well, very lovely chewy bite into it, and the sauce was great that I had dipped the kimchi pancake in the sauce. Kimchi pancake was average, and the yuzu honey soda too. $64 for everything in this post.
This small cosy spot hidden away from the bustling city crowd is such a gem . While not owned or run by Koreans , the quality and authenticity of food here really shames a lot of “Korean food places “. The food here was 10/10. Faultless . The Kim Chi soup was robust and refreshing and load filled with ingredients with an added lemongrass tinge to elevate the flavour. The purple rice was cooked to perfection - a fragrant nuttiness and not mushy at all . The side dishes were so innovative especially the curried potatoes , the seasoned mushroom and burdock and the pickled radish . The ordering system was also seamless - online ordering and online payment was so efficient. I haven’t had such a soulful meal in a long time where everything was spot on. A nice touch by the restaurant would be to offer a hot cup of barley tea ( self service) . This would make the dining experience even better . I like how the restaurant was clean and the song choices were lovely too . Overall just a very comfortable environment to dine in.
