Food is affordable and portion is huge, so it is very worth it. I’ve tried most of their menu items and I can safely say that they are all consistently delicious! Brought my family twice and will come again many more times. Service is also good and it’s nice that they gave complimentary croissants and butter set for each family that dines in. My family loved the croissants as it was served warm, crispy and had a buttery taste. Highly recommended and hope they keep serving good food and service☺️

Had a nice dinner here. The food portion is huge and tastes good. Nice ambience, too. They serve warm croissants as starters while waiting for our food. It was very nice. Had a miscommunication when I wanted to buy their croissants as takeaway. I wanted 2 whole croissants, but they billed me for 2 piece of cut croissants instead. Wasn't happy when they refused to budge and change for me as I've already paid for it, but it got resolved in the end with them giving me the 2 whole croissants and taking back the 2 piece of cut croissants (2/3 of a full croissant). Yes, i paid for the additional croissant. Thanks!

Wonderful experience. Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. First time here, food is good quality. Staff was amazing!! They went out of their way to help us sort out a table. Food is great! They served us first with croissant with butter. It was soft and airy. I would definitely return again!

Cookies & Ginger in Johor Bahru is a charming spot conveniently located next to another of their restaurants, both sharing the same kitchen. The food was well-prepared, with a delightful grilled flavor that stood out. We tried both the chicken and meat options, which were served in generous portions and did not disappoint. The croissants were particularly impressive, perfectly toasted and delightfully crispy. However, they were a bit on the pricey side, especially considering that larger and more affordable options are available elsewhere. The ambiance was warm and inviting, complemented by tasteful interior decor. The seating arrangement is spacious, making it a great choice for both small gatherings and large families. The service was attentive and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Overall, Cookies & Ginger offers a satisfying dining experience with quality food and a cozy atmosphere, though the pricing on some items could be more competitive.

Went here for dinner last night and my husband and I loved it! We had the baramuddi sambal, hickory steak, coffee and brownies. The baramuddi sambal was delicious! The fish was fresh and the sambal was spicy which a good kick. Tasted like an elevated ikan bakar. The steak was very tender. The sauce was sweet with a slight spicy kick at the end. The roasted potatoes were a little oily but so garlicky and yummy, i couldn't stop eating them. Even the roasted vegetables were perfectly cooked. The brownie is a bit sweet for my liking but my husband who is a sweet tooth loved it! The chocolate sauce that came with it was good quality and the brownies was airy and chocolatey. The service was great as well! The owner, Mr Fairus was very friendly and checked on us when we were seated and the staff was very good as well. Special shout out to Mr Khairul. Thank you for giving us the free packet of cookies! In total, the bill came up yo rm100+ which was so worth it! Considering how the quality of the food, service and ambience was spicy good. 10/10 will come back!
