Veg thali at Chotiwala Phuket was excellent. Paneer curry, dal, mix veg, rice, curd, sweet and pickle – all simple, fresh and very homely. Flavors were balanced, not heavy or oily. Felt like a proper homemade Indian meal.
We visited Chotivala Restaurant in Phuket and ordered a classic vegetarian Indian meal for our family of four (2 adults + 2 kids): Paneer Butter Masala, Chapati, Jeera Rice, and Tandoori Roti. The food was genuinely tasty, with balanced spices that worked well for both adults and children. The paneer was soft and flavorful, the curry was rich and creamy, and the breads were fresh and well-prepared. Jeera rice was aromatic and paired perfectly with the curry. The overall quality was impressive — authentic Indian flavors, good portion sizes, and food that felt home-cooked. Service was smooth and the order was well-packed. The total bill came to 625 THB (invoice attached), which we found very reasonable for the quality and quantity. Highly recommend Chotivala for anyone craving fresh, pure vegetarian Indian food in Phuket.
We had the gujarati thali. Excellent taste and sufficient for 2 persons. Hot phulkas, gulab jamun and a cold glass of masala chaas was the highlight of the thali. Jeevan, the waiter from Burma was gracious and helpful.
Amazing quality of food. No deep frozen parantha like other Indian restaurant. They make everything fresh and the taste is so so good. Highly recommend 👍
