About

Cherry & Oak is the brainchild of Walaku SG and ASAP & Co. Here at Cherry & Oak, we strive to be the bridge between two cultures for a unique and alleviated dining experience by combining the Western method of slow-smoking meat, and our favourite Malay dish, Nasi Lemak Bakar. And so, Cherry & Oak was formed to spread our vision, our very own take on this hybrid cuisine that we call Artisanal Wood-Smoked Cuisine.

Celebrated our wedding with our Muslim friends at Cherry and Oak, this was the best decision we have made to host our event! Fizi and the team made us feel so comfortable! The food was served just in time for our friends to break their fast. Service were quick and polite! Would 100% recommend for any hosting here! ?

Mar 11 was my 1st visit to the restaurant.. good & convenient location 5 mins walk from Farrer Park MRT after exit from Exit D. Nice ambience. Food was marvellous aligned to what they have outlined in their website. “The heart of our kitchen is the art of smoking meats to perfection. Every dish is crafted with care, as we slow-cook the finest cuts of beef, poultry, and seafood to bring out their deep, natural flavors… …” Every order of main comes with free Nasi Lemak, love the strong coconut aroma flavor or the basmati rice.. each pack is wrapped in banana leaves & oven baked to enhance the traditional flavor of Nasi Lemak. Nasi Lemak goes well with the smoked platter, burnt ends beef, grilled squids & cockles (must try dish!?) Desserts is another blown away pulut hitam panna cota, cepekna creme brûlée Highly recommend to dine here if you have not been here. One point to note is the restaurant doesn’t serve free “sky juice” or water, it has to be purchased.?

Was recommended by a colleague to visit the restaurant for dinner. We went to break fast there and was happy to see all the food ready before iftar. Star dish here would be The One Burger, a fantastic burger full of depth and flavour. Just focus on that, order yourself a great mocktail, and enjoy a slow but satisfying meal. You won't be disappointed.

Lovely halal Smokehouse. We ordered a variety: brisket, short ribs, burnt ends…Flanken ribs were my top choice. Their sparkling tea and Desserts were really interesting and delicious. Will be great if there are options for white rice or mash potatoes as well. Highly recommend; will definitely visit again.
