Chendu Food is one staple eatery to people in and around Wellawatte, from the day they started this takeaway store. Filled with mouthwatering, traditional vegetarian Jaffna Tamil snacks and foods, this shop is known for its cleanliness and overpowered by the taste. From Puttu/Idiyappam kothu to rice and curry, Samosas, rolls, Rottis, and even a simple kadalai sundal, the aroma and aftertaste stay with you. If you do need a quick dinner/lunch or breakfast fix, rather than going to high-priced restaurants, this economical shop is what I would suggest. Most of the staff are really nice, friendly, and welcoming too. The location is also a plus point for them. At times, you can't park on the road, but most of the time, it is a convenient place to get your favourites. If you are in a hurry, this is the place I would propose.
