This is a FAMILY STYLE EATERY They have seating outside as well as inside. The chicken and lamb rack are very clearly cooked over charcoal. There are many other chook places that cook over charcoal but this one somehow just tastes a lot more flavoursome with the meat falling off the bone succulent. Ordered the Portugese Spicy flavour and it didn't disappoint. What I really appreciated was the additional containers of sauces that were provided by the owners on top of the already very saucy chicken. The rack of lamb had the right amount of char on it and yet the meat is fall off the bone succulent. It was just sweet enough to allow one to enjoy the sweetness without overpowering the other flavours of the lamb rack. As far as the two meats are concerned, in comparison to two other charcoal chicken places I would rate this place very highly and much better quality than the others. The sides that we selected were the biryani rice and the cream potatoes. The biryani rice was of a normal standard but the creamed potatoes were very superior in taste and flavour. Did order a take away of the same Portuguese Chicken(spicy) with sides of Cream Potatoes and Seafood Salad. The Seafood Salad was definitely far superior in flavour and taste in comparison to the other eateries. Somehow there was an additional level of complexity of flavour in this that made it a very enjoyable experience. Interesting to note that to get to the toilet, one has to walk through the closed off parts of the kitchen. The kitchen seems very clean and that does define give one a high level of confidence in the hygiene of this eatery. Overall a very good epicurean experience and will definitely return to enjoy both the Portugese Chicken as well as the Rack of Lamb.

Hands down the best charcoal chicken place in Perth ?? good value for money and the variety they have is amazing ?? Absolutely love any of their salads and the cream potatoes are amazing ? love coming here and the chicken is always juicy and never dry! and to top it all off the service in there is great as well which makes for a pleasant experience ??

The best and tidy resturant I’ve been in Perth. I loved how the cutlery had cloth on top to prevent from dust. The tables and floors were so clean and the food display was so clean as well. I loved their lamb ribs and charcol chicken, their rice and cream potato was amazing too! We ended up ordering more cream potato? Highly recommend this place!!!
