Very well known goat curry restaurant. The curry is good but more on the sweeter side. The fried silver fish paste is nice.
This is one of the best curries I’ve ever had in Vietnam. They call it Indian curry, but it definitely has a Vietnamese twist that makes it easy to eat while still being packed with flavor. Yes, you can have it with rice, but I love dipping bánh mì into it. Great atmosphere, packed with locals. Can’t wait to come back!
Excellent food and friendly service. The curry goat at this halal restaurant is perfect, full of dark spices and cinnamon. The meat is deeply flavoured with dark spices and cinnamon, slow cooked to fall off the bone perfection. You can't help but tease off every piece of meat from the bone. Eat it with banh mi and you have a deconstructed Bunny Chow. The staff were kind enough to give me an extra bowl of gravy to finish my rice with. I'm going back next week for the goat stir fry! A perfect halal curry.
A culinary gem, tucked away in a charming communal residential apartment cove is probably a top 10 must visit in Saigon. Curried goat was a childhood staple coming from a Caribbean family and I have to admit this place would give grandma‘s recipe a good run. If goat isn’t your thing everything else on the menu is equally delicious; 500k for several dishes and drinks was cheap by the quality and care put into a very difficult cut of meat to prepare; absolutely “fall of the bone” tender and no gamey smell whatsoever. Definitely putting this on my list of places to visit once a month.
