It’s an amazing restaurant! The owner and staff are incredibly warm, polite, and provide excellent service. I personally highly recommend the lamb shank—the meat is tender and melts in your mouth. Even my wife, who usually doesn’t like lamb, enjoyed it. The special sauce made by the owner pairs perfectly with the dish. We were celebrating our 21st anniversary, and although they don’t usually offer a service to write congratulatory messages, they made a special exception for us by writing “Happy Anniversary.” A special thanks to Rukon, a cheerful and friendly stuff who made our experience even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting Malacca, be sure to check out Campung O’oloo, a uniquely styled restaurant worth experiencing!
An unforgettable dining experience with beautifully presented and flavorful dishes ?️✨. The mushroom soup ? was rich and comforting, paired with perfectly toasted bread ?. The Pulled Beef Paitee Cups ?? were a delightful bite-sized treat, packed with bold flavors. The Otak Otak Lemak ?? was a standout, wrapped in a leafy parcel and infused with aromatic spices, delivering an authentic and satisfying taste. The Fried Rice Stuffed Squid ?? was a unique combination, with tender squid enveloping fragrant rice in a rich, flavorful sauce. The Smoked Duck Pesto Pasta ?? was a delightful fusion dish, balancing the smokiness of the duck with the creamy, herbaceous pesto ?. Every dish was well-crafted, beautifully plated, and packed with flavors that left a lasting impression. A must-visit for those who appreciate exquisite food in a charming ambiance! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐?
We stayed in Melaka for two days, and the food here was so good that we visited this place two days in a row. We tried various dishes, and all of them were rich in flavor and well-prepared. Among them, the sambal seafood and prawn toast stood out as especially delicious for us as Japanese. We’d love to come back again.
Great dining atmosphere with great service by the team. Food was mostly wonderful. Loved the pai tee with beef rendang and the cucur udang. The spin on pickled fruit rojak was equally interesting albeit the rather measly amount of sauce provided. The only key let down was the Cincalok prawns which fell below expectation. The new twist to the dish is interesting but unfortunately the team possible tried to cater more to tourist tastes and the Cincalok flavor was super weak and near non existent. Rather sad as that was also our most expensive dish ? Will return to try the stuff on next visit.
BEAUTIFUL and quaint little restaurant which apparently can handle events upstairs. we were here for Father’s Day, Sunday lunch so it was not as busy as i thought it would be. Not complaining to be honest. the menu is rather extensive, however mains appears to be like how you order shared dishes (ala chinese dinner) but its actually single person serving. E.g. Chili Garam fish its 1 piece and comes with a serving of rice. all the food is yummy esp. the pulled beef rendang pasta - my daughters ordered one and immediately ordered the 2nd one. i tried it and i completely agree. overall experience was great, service was attentive and friendly. love it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
