No. 159, Chenggong 1st Rd, Lingya District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan 802
I've had every possible traditional Hokkien, Teochew, Cantonese, Nonya, alkaline water rice dumpling. But never ever vegetarian rice dumpling. I have an absolute disdain for meatless dining, but I was taken aback by how much I've actually enjoyed this peanut rice dumpling. It was extremely peanut perfumed. Peanut allergic persons, avoid breathing or walking by the store like the plague.
Vegetarian dumplings had a subtle scent of leaves and there were some peanuts inside. The taste wasn't sweet even with thick sauce. I wondered if I should avoid sauce because of how it looks but realized I didn't need to avoid it after one bite. I was impressed that the free tea had no added sugar which was a bonus? Staffs were kind and friendly. I found a sticker of LINE Pay when I left there. I should have found it when entering.
First of all at this place every one is very gentle and humble. I had peanut rice dumplings at this place and it has become my favourite dish here in Taiwan. Being vegetarian is the best place with a cool and calm ambience. I must recommend it to every vegetarian person.
They make one thing and one thing only. Not a vegetarian, but enjoyed it. Needed the chilli sauce though for a saucy guy like me.
Good local food. Reasonable price. Dine-in sold out quickly after lunch.
