The food was SO delicious, and the servers/staff were all very kind! Very generous portions- I ordered the rocket salad and rigatoni cardinale and had to take most of it home with me (definitely not complaining!). I also ordered tiramisu to go, I was so full but knew I'd want it tomorrow. (Snuck a bite, amazing!). Was the perfect dinner for my first night here :)

Service? Great. Our waitress was lovely, no complaints.

Time we had to wait for food : 40 minutes

What tasted good:

Chicken parmigiana.
Mushroom Ravioli.
Pizza.

What surprisingly did not:

Marinara
Prawn Spaghetti
Carbonara

Coming to this restaurant the second time, expected the long wait time as the wait time we had before was long, 1 he 20 minutes - but it was worth the wait.

Tonight wasn’t worth it at all.

The three pastas lacked seasoning, my spaghetti rocket and prawn dish didn’t feel like I was eating pasta but ramen. Same went for the marinara.

Carbonara was overcooked sauce and it was just a disappointment.

The waitress after we ate and talked about it chalked it up to the kitchen staff being swamped and made shortcuts just for the sake of taking the dishes out.

They were full, sure. But I’d rather wait longer than have been served food like that.

Amazing waitstaff, watered down sub par food, amazing ambience.

Delicious food and cocktails, such a nice atmosphere and awesome memorabilia on the wall. The olive oil Mariana pasta was to die for.

EDIT - went again, cocktails are still delicious. However, was disappointed with the pasta this time as it was SWIMMING in olive oil. Can see the difference between the pictures! Was rather off-putting to have that much oil. The servers were nice but I did feel awkward as they watched us from afar throughout our meal, I understand they may have been watching to check that we didn't need anything, but I did feel like eyes were constantly on me.

This was really disappointing. It was busy, and had a nice vibe, and we thought that given the menu prices, we'd be in for a treat. Our entree focaccia came out very quickly, and it was very nice, but then things started to come loose when a different server took our order for our mains. After an hour of waiting, the server said that ours was the next coming out, and when it came out fifteen minutes later, it was the wrong order! The server was apologetic, and said that it would be fixed soon, but then the entire wait staff avoided us for twenty five minutes- everyone else near us seemed to be getting good service, though.

When the food did finally come, it was underwhelming. The portion sizes were good, but it was nothing that I couldn't make myself. My partner had the garlic prawn pasta, which were tasteless and the sauce was watery (a broken emulsion, I suspect), while my beef ragu penne was acidic and lacked any body. The staff were apologetic, but both front of house and back had egregious issues.

Neither of us finished our meals despite the 90 minutes between our seating and mains arriving. Thank goodness we ordered the focaccia.
