Excellent! We tried 9 dishes and everyone was excellent with the Eggplant Chilli & Basil being the unanimous favourite closely followef by Tofu & Mushroom (Hor Mok) , Pumpkin Tofu & Basil, Veggie Rib & Lemongrass. Very good portions and pay the extra $2 dollars (14) for the 3 choices. Lovely staff. Deserves to be very busy as Excellent value & flavours. We liked it so much we went for lunch and a dinner. The food is served from bain-maries but with no lack in heat.

Good value tasty vegan Asian style food in a buffet format. I love this place because you can see exactly what’s available and choose from about a dozen yummy dishes. The 3 I had with brown rice were all delicious. Spicy and tasty. Nice to be able to choose a couple of tempeh based dishes too which is an often underrated very healthy soy food. Being fermented its a good vegan source of B12. Very basic decor and limited seating but excellent value for money and good for a quick tasty meal.

Really good vegan food. Curries, rice, noodles and stir fries. Very flavoursome. Wide variety to choose from. Or you can ask for something to be specially cooked. Good portion seizes. They will let you have a taste before you pick an option. Does takeaways too.

Really lovely meal. Fantastic to find such a good range of Vegan options. I had the Noodles, Crispy Soy, and Tempeh Chilli Basil and mushroom. Tasted so good!

I've been eating at Blossoming Lotus since it traded under the name Green Palace on north King St. It is easily one of my favourite spots in Newtown. The mock meats are unreal, especially the crispy soy beef and the veggie rib & lemongrass. So flavourful, filling, and the portions are really generous. On top of that, the prices are super reasonable, which is rare for food this good. For $15 you can get rice or noodles with your choice of three mains. The women who run it are so kind and warm, and the whole atmosphere just feels really special every time I go. Highly recommend.
