Good place to try vietnamese food in comfortable settings. They have a wide selection menu, most servings are for sharing for small plate. It would be good to dine here by group so you can try several dishes. Airconditioned inside the dining area, but they have few outdoor seating, as well as meeting rooms upstairs for large groups. They accept card and cash payments.
This was the best tasting food that I've eaten at during my trip to Vietnam. I liked it so much that I came back 2 other times, and brought a friend the second time. My first experience at this place, I ordered the Beef Skewers with Rice Vermicelli and an order Fried Spring Rolls and Pickled Plum Juice. These were all recommended by my waiter, and I gave everything a 10/10, and the portions were huge and I completely devoured it. The second time I ordered the recommended Stir-Fried Beef Fillet with Beef Sauce and Vegetable and Salted Lemon Drink and didn't like it as much, as it didn't taste as good and the portion was a lot smaller. The waiter also forgot the Spring rolls we ordered. The place seems to have a lot of foreigners (which is often a red flag for me), and it does seem a bit commercial (it is a franchise), so I questioned its authenticity as Vietnamese cuisine. However, despite all this, I still highly recommend this place as it's still my go-to when I want a full hearty and tasty meal that seems reasonably authentic. It also seems like a good place to bring a date.
The service was fast. Although poor signal for card payment but the servers were always smiling and polite. Food was served fast and hot. We love the skewers and pancakes. Really filling to the tummy. The servings were really good for sharing. The ambiance is very soothing to the mood.
This is a small and charming restaurant serving delightful Vietnamese food. The setting and ambience are pleasant and inviting. The coconut fried rice has a lovely hint of coconut flavor and is well-prepared. The beef skewers are soft and tender, while the crispy pork pairs nicely with the flavorful sesame sauce. However, the pork knuckle was rather ordinary and did not meet expectations. Overall, the presentation of the dishes and the restaurant’s setting are very nice. It’s a good spot for a casual and satisfying meal.
Ahoy there, food adventurers! Hidden in a whimsical alley of Little Saigon is the legendary Bếp Mẹ Ỉn — and WOW, what a dazzling, yummilicious explosion of Vietnamese magic! From the moment we were greeted by the sweetest traditionally dressed hostess, it felt like stepping into a fairytale garden of flavor and charm ?✨. Every dish BURST with bold, authentic, soul-hugging taste — it’s like grandma’s cooking on turbo mode! The vibe? Pure joy. The food? Mind-blowingly divine. If I could give it 100 stars, I would. I'm OBSESSED. One visit is NEVER enough. I want more, more, MORE!!! ????
