1296-3 노형동 Jeju-si, Jeju-do, South Korea
Writing this as I have my beautiful meal. The detail that goes into everything here is amazing. It’s run by one lady. Everyone gets served the same set and you can ask for extras like pancakes and soup ? It’s a little hard to find if you don’t speak or read Korean but don’t give up! It’s an obscure gem in an unassuming building. Lovely way to enjoy local food if you’re on a vegan diet.
The Best (#1) Korean vegan food I have had!! I have eaten in many vegan Korean restaurants but this one was hands down the very best. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The place is a little tricky to find. While it's on the 1st floor (1F), the entrance is on the right side of the main building. There is also a back entrance. Keep looking until you find it, it is worth it. Run by a beautiful and kind woman, Kim Yun Hi, she makes beautiful and delicious food. The menu is simple, 2 options: 1. Vegan bibimbap 2. Clear Tofu soup Both come with spicy tofu soup, hot tea, and amazing kimchi sides. I ordered the Bibimbap and I'm so glad I did. Really fresh and flavorful ingredients. The mixed greens were fresh and varied...had ample mint leaves that sent the flavors through the roof. Also had mushrooms, fermented leaves, carrots, purple cabbage, bean sprouts, cucumbers and Korean spinach salad. 12,000 won I tried to tip her but she refused ? Kimchi sides were out of this world: -Lotus root with sprouts -Creamy Cauliflower -Cabbage kimchi -Pickled sweet-savory celery Came with a fresh green salad with an orange-ginger-sesame dressing And Purple cabbage pancakes pan-seared to perfection. I literally died and and went to food heaven while eating this meal. ??❤️ Even if you're not vegan, I highly recommend this place. Kim Yun Hi is a master in the kitchen and she excels at making her food with love and good energies. ?????? Place is closed on Sundays And closes at 3pm.
Amazing, fresh high-quality vegetarian and vegan Korean food in Jeju. We ordered bibimbap which came with lots of lovely sides for a very reasonable price. Sides included tofu, kimchi, pickles, salad and a tofu soup. Couldn’t have been happier with the restaurant and the service! The owner was so friendly and very sweet.
Such an incredible meal, the best food we ate in Jeju. If you are vegan or vegetarian this place is amazing. It’s like having a home cooked meal from your grandma. The place is located in a rather dingy looking building but it’s well worth a visit
For any vegan and vegetarians visiting Jeju, is a restaurant to must visit to eat and experience local Korean cuisine made vegan. First of all, the owner is a local Jeju that started to make and eat vegan food to heal her body. So hear food is very home made and local. Not to mention, it come with so many side dishes. Her beetroot pancakes is one of my favorite. She also serve side dishes I never ate at other Korean restaurant before. So interesting and new experience. My taste bud was challenged and enjoyed every taste of it. Vegans, you have to come here! Her Bimbimpap is so affordable as well. Only 12000 won. The grandma is so lovely and kind and spread her smile throughout the place. Her smile is very contagious.
