Ali’s restaurant was a great option for both Indian and Thai halal food. Located conveniently at the 5th floor of Platinum mall, the menu offered a wide variety of dishes including both noodles and rice options. The Pad Thai and Tom yum noodles were great, but the standout dishes we ordered were the shrimp omelette and stir fried cabbage.

Ordered Thai Iced Milk Tea, Fried rice with Chicken, Tom Yum Kung and Shrimp Omelette. Specifically informed server that I do not want vegetables on my fried rice with chicken. However, the fried rice still came out like the standard order. No offence to the server. You(owner) hired a Burmese server that was unable to comprehend Thai well and speaks a little english. So we spend a bit more time to explain and ended up the outcome still the same. You have Indian server that perhaps can speak better english but all they do are walking around the restaurant like a guard instead of taking orders. In my honest opinion, when the crowd are not heavy, servers can spend some time to learn english better. So that they can meet the needs and requirement of the customer. Competent server will write the correct orders to the chef, whom will cook up the dishes perfectly to the customer.
