I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, where we ordered the chicken mandi rice and a portion of beef—both were absolutely mouthwatering. The ambiance offers a great mix of comfort and tradition, with both majlis seating for those who prefer to sit down on carpet and enjoy the meal in traditional style, and tables available for a more standard dining experience. There’s plenty of parking space, which made getting there easy, and the staff were exceptional. The server’s warm, welcoming smile added a personal touch to the experience, making it even more memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Really loved the taste of their mandi rice and the bbq chicken. Has plenty of space to dine in with your family or friends.

We visited few months back and it is the most Fantastic Mandi in Colombo... The mutton was soooo soft even the bone is cracking when we touch. That much slow cooked meat .. taste also fantastic... They have enough seats both down and upstairs. And we can sit in mat also in a seperate partitions. Great place, great food and great service... Highly recommended...

The overall taste of all the dishes was ? — from Mandi to BBQ, everything tasted fresh and authentic. They also offer Majlis service, which gave us a royal and cozy dining experience ??️ — perfect for a group chill or family outing. What truly stood out was their customer service. The staff were kind, welcoming, and very attentive. Felt like VIPs! ?? Highly recommend Al Reem if you're craving real Arabian flavors in Colombo! Will definitely visit again soon! ??
