My friend and I came to eat here about 3 weeks ago. The restaurant is run by a lovely family of Syrians. EVERYTHING FRESH & MADE WITH LOVE ❤️We had the most incredible meal, and such a lovely conversation with the lovely owner. What an incredible resilient family, amazing food, kind staff and a good conversation. What more could you want!! A must try whilst in Langkawi.

Really enjoyed the food at AL Medan. recommend the Fatoush, hummus and aubergine dips with the falafel. good to know that these guys who herald from Damascus are doing well here in langkawi and the efforts of their work both in the decor of the restaurant and the food itself are plain to see. It’s not the cheapest food you will get in Malaysia but that’s not their issue and I can see why many folk make their way here despite prices

Probably one of the best restaurants in the city — if not the best! We had an amazing meal, the welcome was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly kind. The food was absolutely delicious. Special mention for the decor, which instantly transports you to Syria. A big thank you for this wonderful experience — I highly recommend it!

We had an amazing dining experience at Al Medan Syrian Restaurant in Kuah. The Lamb Mandi and Kabsa were absolutely delicious — the rice was fragrant and perfectly spiced, and the lamb was incredibly tender and flavorful. The rich broth served alongside added an authentic touch that tied the whole meal together beautifully. What made the visit even more special was the excellent hospitality. The staff were warm, welcoming, and very attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. If you’re craving authentic Arabic cuisine in Langkawi, Al Medan Syrian Restaurant is the place to go. Wonderful food, great service, and a genuinely friendly atmosphere.
