What a lovely place. Before going I had read other reviews noting that you get a discount if you write a review, so I was a bit worried that the reviews would be inflated, but not at all. The place is big and nice that it has booth indoor and outdoor seating (2 patios). I also like the bag basket that provided. The coffee was good and the food was fresh and so flavorful. It was so good. In fact that I ordered additional takeout to have later at home. My only regret is that I didn't find this place until 2 days before leaving town. Great lunch place. Must try.
Came here with zero expectations, but walked away surprised by the food and service. This is a great place to have your Sunday brunch, or any other time for that matter. We had the Benny, Chelsea, French Omelette and Fruity Waffle. They were all great, the eggs preparation was one of the best I’ve ever had in KL. The attention to details were there as well, as evident by the different side dishes with the mains. Coffee was good, and juices were prepared without additional sugar. Service attitude was top notch even though the cafe was getting crowded. All in all, a great cafe for good food with good vibes. And oh, you can bring your furry family members as well!
I remember my first time going to After One KL. They had just started operation for a few days when I visited on the weekend. At that point of time, the food wasn't memorable probably because the kitchen was still new and needed fine-tuning. Fast forward 2 years later and I revisited this bungalow-turned-cafe once again after finished shopping spree at Popular's Book Fest in KLCC nearby. Everything is just the way I remembered it to be. But let the food did the talking. ◾Moroccan Chicken RM34 - Marrakesh spice chicken breast, tri-color quinoa, sweet potatoes, capsicums, chermoula. ◾Tuscan Salmon RM52 - 7 oz Norwegian salmon filet, tuscan kale, roasted baby potatoes, sun-dried tomato cream. ◾Lamb Merguez Quesadilla RM33 - Australian lamb shoulder, emmental cheese, pickled jalapenos, guacamole, tomatoes salsa. ◾Chicken Paillard | RM34 - Mediterranean bean stew, pounded chicken breast, frisee salad, toasted almond ◾Smashed Beef Burger RM42 - Australian ground beef, yellow cheddar cheese, caramelized onion, plckles, burger sauce, herbed potato wedges, simple salad. ◾Keto Cauliflower Bowl RM34 - Caulifower rice, roasted chicken breast, feta cheese, purple cabbage, French beans, edamames, cherry tomato, avocado, sumac dressing ◾Chelsea | RM24 - French croissant, smoked salmon, poached egg, tomato hollandaise, guacamole, arugula ◾Chicken Meatball Pasta | RM24 - Semolina spaghetti, parmesan cheese, house made marinara sauce ◾Tomato Soup RM14 ◾Autumn Peach Tea RM16 The food was much better now, in fact above average as 11 of us praised the overall quality of the food. No coffee this time as we were there to fill the tummy - we left with happy ones.
I had a lovely brunch time with friends. The space was spacious both inside and out, and the atmosphere and clientele gave off a refined impression. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious! We were also kindly served a complimentary sip-sized ginger tea, which was rich in ginger flavor and very enjoyable.
Love it! The moment we sat down, they gave us a shot of their nourishing ginger tea as a part of Mother’s Day welcome drink! The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing with good coffee shop music. Service is good, major plus point! Also this place is pet friendly - so bring your pets. Will definitely come again
