1 Chome-9-2 Omorikita, Ota City, Tokyo 143-0016, Japan
Tucked away in a corner near Omori Station on the Keihin-Tohoku Line, this small, unassuming yakiniku restaurant specialises in Hokkaido Shiretoko Wagyu beef. The meat is fresh, juicy and well-marbled. Probably the best yakiniku experience I’ve ever had in my life so far. It’s halal too so bring your Muslim friends!
Food was delicious. Place is two storeys. Owner was friendly, accommodating and has another shop serving different menus opposite the street. Highly recommended.
Writing a review voluntarily because this place is a gem.. it wasn't in our radar until we were looking for a restaurant that closes late (past 10pm) after our DisneySea on a Thurs night. To our delightful surprise, the beef and clam soup were really good and by then it was quiet so we had the place to ourselves (bonus because other crowded place would make you leave smelling like yakiniku). Good service too so we decided to have dinner here twice on our final nights. The owner, Adam, was very friendly and humble. Wishing the business a great success so we could visit again in the future!
Halal yakiniku as the name implies. The most common set starts from around 5000 yen. If you are a big eater, expect to buy 2. The meat is worth it and it is very tasty. I recommend definitely. I went twice in 4 days. The shop across this place is also halal btw. You can ask the workers about it. I’ve attached videos of where I’ve sat and the dining conditions. Also, you can pray on the 4th floor. Ask the workers. If you’ve read this far then congratulations on reading about this convenience. It is a life saver. Enjoy your experience
Very good meat. High quality cuts, and for the price, very reasonable. We got Karubi boneless short rib -excellent black wagyu 1680 yen (6 slices) and Black wagyu loin 1400 yen (6 slices). With 2 small bowls of rice and taxes, that’s 4000 yen so approximately $28 USD. A very reasonable price for 2 people. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5- the atmosphere and service was a bit strange as some other reviews mention. No music which isn’t bad, but it goes from silence to the staff loudly shouting to each other down stairs to upstairs or welcoming new customers coming in but still, very loud. The service is a bit slow too. We weren’t sure if we should go up when finished to check out or if they come to us to ask if we wanted more food. They did not come back to our table to ask for refills on drinks, to order more meat, or ask if we wanted dessert which seemed unusual for this type of restaurant, but overall, I would recommend this place and I would go back again.
