I recently had the chance to dine at 7 Spice Indian Cuisine in Danga Bay, Johor Bahru, and it was quite an experience. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, with a spacious and clean setup that makes it great for both small gatherings and larger groups. The décor has a modern yet traditional Indian touch, which adds to the dining atmosphere. Now, onto the food—I tried a mix of North and South Indian dishes, and overall, the flavors were rich and well-balanced. The biryani was fragrant and packed with spices, and the butter chicken had a creamy texture with just the right amount of sweetness and spice. I also tried their masala tea, which was aromatic and had a comforting warmth to it. Service-wise, it was mostly pleasant. The staff were polite and attentive, and the overall dining experience was smooth. Despite being slightly on the pricier side compared to other Indian eateries in JB, 7 Spice is a solid choice for Indian food. The variety on the menu is impressive, catering to vegetarian, vegan, and halal diets, and the quality of the food is definitely above average. If you’re in Johor Bahru and craving authentic Indian flavours, this place is worth a visit.

This is one of THE BEST Indian restaurants I’ve ever dined in and this is coming from a non-Indian. I’ve tasted many Indian restaurants before (not just mamak or Indian-inspired, but authentic Indian places), but none that could serve this quality. The food was punchy with all the spices in it and the portion was SATIATING. I ordered Briyani with some side dishes and let me tell you, never have I ever wanted to eat Briyani so much in my life. But! The star of my experience was the Gobi Manchurian (albeit to the dismay of my company). Omg when I tell you it was the BEST Gobi Manchurian by far, I’m not even a tiny bit kidding! You HAVE to try the food here at least once in your life! (Though, with all its plus points, the price is quite on the luxurious side, so keep that in mind when you decide to come here)

We recently had the pleasure of dining at 7 Spices, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious and rich in flavor, well-prepared, and served hot. We tried the mutton biryani, rotis, and butter chicken, and each dish was incredibly satisfying. The mutton was tender and flavorful, the rotis were soft and fresh, and the butter chicken had the perfect balance of creaminess and spice. The ambience of the restaurant was also worth mentioning, pleasant, and perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. One standout pairing was the mutton biryani and pepper prawn, it complemented the spices. A special mention goes to the pepper prawns, which were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. If you enjoy seafood with a spicy kick, it’s a must-try. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and would definitely recommend 7 Spices is one of the satisfying Indian cuisine in JB.

We’re regular customers here because the quality of both the food and service never disappoints. The spice level is always spot on, perfectly complementing the flavors of each dish.
